Early Career Teachers

ECF Year 1

As part of your training year and 2-year induction, you will receive a structured package of training and support based on the Early Career Framework (ECF). DET and the Bucks Hub Partnership work with Ambition Institute to deliver this comprehensive and compulsory programme, designed to help you build confidence, skills, and knowledge for your classroom practice.

You will receive further details about each session including exact timings and venues from Ambition, your Hub Leads, or facilitators.
Attendance at all sessions is compulsory.

Important – Diary Planning:
When planning your calendar at the start of the academic year, if you know in advance that you cannot attend a compulsory session (e.g. due to a Parents' Evening), you must inform Claire Todd at ctodd@danesedtrust.org.uk by Monday 29 September 2025.
