Further to your training year, and during the second year of your induction, you will continue to receive a structured package of training and support based on the Early Career Framework (ECF). DET and the Bucks Hub Partnership work with Ambition Institute to deliver a comprehensive and compulsory programme, designed to help you build the skills and knowledge needed to feel confident and empowered in your classroom.

The core training dates for Year 2 of your induction can be found below. You will receive further information regarding each session from Ambition Institute, your Hub Leads, and/or session facilitators—including exact timings, formats, and locations.

Important – Planning Ahead:
As you plan your diary at the start of the academic year, if you already know that you are unable to attend a compulsory session (for example, due to a Parents’ Evening), you must inform Claire Todd at ctodd@danesedtrust.org.uk by Monday 29 September 2025.
